Azafrán creates delicious and elegant food with fresh raw ingredients. This freshness and clarity is conveyed in the site. All the food on the site is made by Azafrán and is presented as is. The type used reflect this elegance. The catering and café part of Azafrán each have their own place on the site, while they share one philosophy towards food.

For this website we worked together to create a visually appealing and information rich design. Using Backtype technology we tapped into the Twitter reactions on Anand Giridharadas’ columns and displayed these alongside the columns on his website. A minimalist design focuses attention on the content.

The site provides a clean and simple interface to Professor Mintz work. Sixty years of publications are organized to appear and re-appear in one of the four themes to provide visitors a quick and complete overview.

Sometimes a site should be as simple as possible. No bells and whistles. This site for the Critical Global Health series at Johns Hopkins University is an example of such a project, clear, concise and elegant.

For the design of the identity and site we build on the strong names of the three participating universities. The site features a one-page design, capturing the complete series in one interactive overview, emphasizing the upcoming seminar and providing complete information to the alternating locations of the different meetings.

When starting this project, the first 3TU.Ethics site was up and running already. Learning from the shortcomings of the site, we first redesigned the underlying structure before we implemented a new CSS-based design. The Center’s members have access to the site on different levels. They can manage their own page, update projects they participate in, add publications and, in some cases, manage separate conference sites. We extended the build-in author management system to cater for these specific requirements.

The site is under continuous development, with a blog in the works. Besides the site, mmott designed several other projects for 3TU.Ethics, such as posters, stationary, and conference designs.

The badges were designed to be simple and non-obtrusive yet easily recognizable.

By rearranging the style elements the identity remains intact, while we create a different visual effect.

The website for the conference is a one-page overlay of the (old) 3TU website. The different elements are visually lifted from the site.

The style lends itself well for the promotion material that will be disseminated to major research institutes and universities across the globe. Again, the simple but easily recognizable style allows for this flexibility.

The site is organized to provide straightforward access to Hazenberg’s diverse portfolio of artwork. Artist information about the works are provided in simple white text on a grey background, with the exception of information from other sources like press coverage.

Given the quality and visual attractiveness of this client’s work, the site is merely a support vehicle to display the client’s portfolio of restored objects. The design was developed to showcase different projects Objects Conservation Studio worked on by using the restored objects as an integral component of the site’s aesthetic form and content.
