Design. I design for visual media. This ranges from identities, websites, and promotional material to interior design, photography and illustration. Depending on your needs, I can design and develop a complete identity, complex database driven websites or a simple elegant invitation.

Manage. I can manage your design projects from start to finish. Asking the right questions, finding solutions within your budget, whether it is small or big, and designing with an eye on the future. For example, I develop standards compliant websites that not only work in today’s browsers, but will work with the next generation of browsing technology as well.

Study. Design develops. New technologies pop up almost every day. I do not only keep myself updated and current on the latest developments, but I also study history and theory of design to widen and deepen my creative scope. If I find something I do not know, but I should, I dive into it, working with other experts to complement my understanding and improve your designs

& how I do it

1. Listen. Given that you are the expert on your field, I listen and learn before doing anything else. What do you need, why do you need it, what do you have, what works, what does not work? Once I get the picture, and it is a picture you recognize yourself in, I move forward.

2. Sketch. I think through the material I put together during the first interactions and come up with ideas, sketches, and concepts. Every design problem requires a unique approach, but sketching is an element of every design process. With the sketches in hand, I go back to the client to make sure we're on the same track.

3. Create. I translate ideas and sketches into actual designs. I construct prototypes of websites, make mock-ups of brochures, or create virtual models of our ideas. With these designs, I again go back to my clients, we discuss what I did, how I did it, why I did it, and how it will be implemented.

4. Develop. Based on the feedback of our clients, I implement the designs into actual products. I program websites, prepare designs for print and, in close cooperation with respective experts, print or construct the final products.

&5. Follow-up. Design is more than the final product. Depending on how it is received, I can suggest improvements, and we can, for example, expand your website based on growing or shifting needs.
